Week 2

This week at Iridio, I first helped the food styalist make some white chocolate gum drop bark. Which they used later for a dish shot with other cookies and candy in the bowls. I also met some new models and saw some of the others I had met before. I helped one of the photographers move lights around and set up part of his new set. He told me how to get even light over everything and how to know if the bottom is too bright to put a black net in front of a white scrim and how it helps balance the light. That is how to get rid of high intensity on the bottom of the shot.For most of the product shots they had two strip boxs on the sides of the set, medium in size. Then they also had a small strip box above everything, aimed at the white background. At the end of the day I got to meet Fred Meyer's second best styalist manager. They were setting up for a Christmas Morning shoot, for the newspaper ad. At the end of the Christmas shoot, they had me take a couple of photos of the styalists, models and phtotgraphers for fun. It was great second experience!
