week 9 Today I helped out on a big ACE set at the beginning of the day we decided what the lighting setup was going to be.  The freelancer and I grabbed all the lights and set them up.  We set up the computer, and did a bunch of running around grabbing stuff.  there were two sets, one was a loft, and the other was a living room.  They were going to be shooting on them all week, today was basically retouching everything.  Some people were painting the fireplace mantel, others were staining beams, the photographer was trying to figure out the shoot list and I was gaffer taping any seems so people could paint over them.
week 8 Today there was not a lot to do in the morning.  For the first half of the day I organized the equipment and swept the floor.  At the end of the day I shot a sketchers shoe, that pretty much summed up my day.  Progress was slow.
Week 7 This week there were more people again shooting for products. In the morning I did a lot of lighting set ups and running around and getting stuff for people. I helped out on the Ace set for a couple hours, helping move things around. In the afternoon, I watched a video set and helped out a little bit. They were taking videos for JCPenny, it was cool to see video lighting and how bright it was. They were shooting to the card on the camera but they had an interesting tethering set to the 4k HDR Atomos. One was always linked to the camera and that is how the videoagrapher was able to take the videos, while another was hooked to the tripod. When the camera was on tripod they hooked it up to another tablet 4k. It was cool to see how they took the videos this way.

week 6 This week there were only 2 photographers there, even less than before.  There wasn't much action going on so the first half of the day they had me set up glass and gave me a bunch of ideas and tips.  They were both helpful, one of them recommend lighting the glass from the back and the other one recommended using a reflecter instead of a soft box to get more gradiant from the glass.  This helped me become more familiar with capture one and the setups they have there.  After that they found some knockout shots for Fred Meyers for me to take, they were water bottles.  After taking the photos, one of the photographers looked over them and said they were good and helped me submit them.  It was a pretty chill, slow day.

week 5 Things have really started to slow down at Iridio. Christmas season is over and it has been dead, with a lot less photographers there this week. There was a total of five photographers there and not a whole lot for anyone to do at all. So, Christi had me get one light and power pack along with every type of reflector, softbox, grids, snoot and a mannequin. She then had me do a lighting experiment and lighting test to see what one light would look like with all the different adapters. While I was doing this I was tether to capture one with a Cannon EOS 5D with a 24 to 70 millimeter lens. When doing this I had to change the lighting power on each one to make sure it wasn't over exposed or under exposed, once I got the right exposure I grey carded every image then took another shot. By the end I had 21 images. Unfortunately, I do not have these images with me so all I have at the moment are the printed images. I need to reformat my hard drive so I am able to get these images ...
